Andrew D Solovey, LISW

Andrew Solovey was the Associate Director for Clinical Services at a large mental health center based in Chillicothe for 26 years.  He has worked as a Clinician/Independent Contractor with Solutions Counseling on a part time basis for many years, and increased his clinical presence in 2010 when he retired from community mental health.  Andy has been interested in brief, effective therapy methods for many years.  He has coauthored several books, the most recent of which is Second-Order Change in Psychotherapy.

Andy hails originally from Detroit, Michigan, and graduated with his bachelors degree from Michigan State University, a Masters degree in Human Relations from the Merrill Palmer Institute, and a Masters in Social Work from Wayne State University.

When he is not doing counseling, Andy enjoys golf and singing.
