Beth N Latella, LPCC
Beth Latella has served as a Clinician/Independent contractor for Solutions Counseling since 2013. Previously, Beth worked for 18 years in a community mental health center, as a clinic director and counselor. Her prior experience was as a music therapist with adults and teens in psychiatric hospitals, and with developmentally delayed adults.
Her education includes a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Ohio University, an MA in Music from the Ohio State University, and an MS Ed in Social Agency Counseling from the University of Dayton.
Beth’s scope of Practice includes mental health and substance abuse counseling; she employs a solution-focused approach to help people resolve crises and give them tools for being more effective in life and relationships. In addition to work with adults and couples, she is skilled in work with children and teens, and believes it is important to involve parents and families in this work.
When not working Beth enjoys sewing and quilting, hiking and biking, and singing, especially in choirs.
