Lydia Muldoon graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in substance misuse and addiction. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the counselor education program at Ohio State, specializing in clinical mental health.
Lydia has gained experience working at Ohio State’s Student Wellness Center, facilitating individual and group interventions for college students exhibiting risky substance use. She has also interned at two community mental health agencies in Columbus, shadowing IOP substance use disorder groups. These experiences have solidified her passion for serving individuals impacted by addiction. Other professional interests she has include addressing challenges related to stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationships. Lydia’s therapeutic style is eclectic, drawing from person-centered, solution-focused, and trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral theories. She is committed to creating a non-judgmental space where clients can process both the beautiful and messy aspects of humanity and feel empowered to pursue the futures they envision for themselves.
