Erin Roy is a licensed professional clinical counselor and art therapist. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio; Erin graduated with her bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Educational studies from Denison University. After working at a school that specialized in helping children dealing with emotional and behavioral issues, she returned to school at Ursuline College and graduated with her Master's degree in Art Therapy and Counseling. Erin continues to create art in her free time and believes that using art in therapy can be very beneficial to those who prefer an alternative to talk therapy. Upon graduation, Erin spent her time living in Naples, Florida working as a counselor and running the Healing Arts Program at The Shelter for Abused Women and Children. Working predominately with women and children in this outreach program; Erin worked to facilitate change through self-esteem building and trauma informed work.

Erin has been living in Columbus for the past five years. She has been working in community mental health, counseling adults as well as children and adolescents. Erin assisted in the creation of the Youth and Adolescent Outpatient program and continues to provide counseling for mood disorders, trauma informed care, relational issues, and various other mental health concerns. Erin also enjoys reading and exploring the city of Columbus.
