Jenna is a Counselor in Training currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She brings over eight years of professional experience as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, working extensively with individuals involved in the criminal justice system in both treatment and reentry-focused settings.
Through this work, Jenna has supported clients navigating substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health concerns, trauma, and systemic barriers. Her clinical approach is integrative and evidence-based, with a particular interest in family systems therapies, DBT-informed approaches, and trauma-based therapies.
As a counselor in training, Jenna is committed to providing ethical, culturally responsive, and client-centered care. She strives to create a safe, collaborative therapeutic environment that honors each client’s lived experience while fostering insight, accountability, and sustainable change. Jenna believes in meeting clients where they are and supporting growth through compassion, respect, and authenticity.
